Join us this year in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC on April 23-24, 2009 for a second year of conferences focusing on educational issues at the college and university level.
The Conference Tracks:
SoTL 2009: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Chair: Dr. Louis Keiner
In our second year of this Conference, we will focus on presentations and
posers that show new techniques
in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. SoTL is a rapidly expanding discipline,
bringing together scholars from a wide variety of disciplines. New and innovative
methods in the classroom are a welcome addition to this track.
DA 2009: Digital Archiving Chair: Dr. Rebecca Childs
The use of digitized earlier materials in educational venues is becoming increasingly popular. Through the digitization of archives, educators are now able to encourage student interaction with earlier materials through technology. The creation of such archives also works as a pedagogical tool as well; thus, making digital archives a significant component of contemporary education. We invite paper presentations on any area of digital archiving in education including the creation of digital archives, the implementation of digital archives, and the educational/academic uses of digital archives.
TEC 2009: Teaching Excellence and Learning
